About

At Muskoka Educational Therapy we are ready to help your student on the road to success. We want to get to the root of the learning difficulties each student is having, not just treat the symptoms. We go through extensive training and are equipped to provide this therapy through our training with NILD Canada.

Robin Bemmann

NILD Educational Therapist

I have been working with children in a variety of settings for over 15 years.  I have worked in youth corrections, youth ministry, was a camp director and most recently an educational assistant.  I have a bachelor’s degree as well as having trained with NILD Canada in their graduate courses to become an educational therapist. I am a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist and continue to upgrade my training with them.

I believe each student is unique and brings their own set of strengths and abilities to the table.  We all have areas that we struggle with and students need to know they are not alone and are capable of great things.  We need to make sure that our struggling learners are given time and strategies to work through and overcome challenges.  Our brains can change! Science is showing that we have neuroplasticity.  We can do things to improve the weaker neuropathways.  There is hope for all students.
